Market Review 2022: After a Down Year, Looking to the Past as a Guide
This event is designed to provide context around major investment storylines and macros trends that drove headlines during 2022 and that are likely to persist during 2023. Another goal of this event is to provide compelling, client-friendly anecdotes that can be implemented into upcoming client review meetings. Volatile markets naturally cause anxiety for investors, so this event will provide longer-term perspectives to alleviate concerns and help refocus investors’ attention back to the financial plan. We will be joined by Kevin Green, Senior Researcher & VP based in Dimensional Fund Advisor’s (DFA) Austin, TX headquarters. Dimensional brings 40+ years of experience managing investments on a global scale through a process driven, scientifically rooted approach. Dimensional implements their investment philosophy through their longstanding mutual funds as well as small account minimum SMAs and a fast-growing ETF line-up (largest active/non-index tracking ETF manager and top 10 overall ETF issuer).
