Mr. Hamilton will examine 21 common nonqualified annuity mistakes and how they can be avoided.
The objective is to educate financial advisors so they can avoid making the 21 common annuity mistakes. These mistakes can be avoided when the advisor understands: contract structures, beneficiary designations, annuitant arrangements, and ownership. By increasing the financial advisor’s understanding of how annuities work and interact with tax law, the advisor will be better equipped to advise clients on how to use annuities to accomplish their goals.
